Symposium of Catholic Jurists - Program

Dear friends,

It is with great regret that we inform you that our Symposium on Assessment of the Commission on Human Rights and Challenges for the Human Rights Council: Jurist Catholic Perspective (Geneva, United Nations, Palais des Nations, Friday March 31st, 2006) will not take place.

Due to the exceptional situation with the Commission on Human Rights that will, most probably, last for 1 day (27th), we have been forced to cancel the Symposium. We are vary sorry for the inconvenience.

We will keep you informed.

Pax Romana will facilitate the entrance to the 62nd Session (and the last) of the United Nations Commission of Human Rights and to this Symposium, which will be a parallel-event of the Session of the Commission. Participants could attend the works of the Commission during the morning and the afternoon.

A gathering of jurists will be held the day before, Thursday March 30th, 2006, at 5 p.m.(Pax Romana´s Headquarters: 15 Rue du Grand-Bureau, Acacias, Geneva 4)

Por favor, se adjunta el programa del Symposium sobre Valoración de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos y Retos para el Consejo de Derechos Humanos: Perspectiva de los Juristas Católicos (Ginebra, Naciones Unidas, Palais des Nations, Viernes 31 de marzo de 2006).

Pax Romana facilitará el acceso a la 62ª Sesión (y última) de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos de las Naciones Unidas y al Symposium, que tendrá carácter de evento paralelo a la Sesión de la Comisión. Los participantes podrán asistir a los trabajos de la Comisión a la mañana y a la tarde.

El día enterior, Jueves 30 de marzo de 2006, a las 17 horas, tendrá lugar una reunión de juristas (Sede de Pax Romana: 15 Rue du grand-Bureau, Acacias, Ginebra 4)
