Rural Associate Development Organisation(RADO)
Introduction:
Rado is a registered Non-Govermental Organisation registered Under the Delta state Ministry of Youths and Sports with registration No 634. . Due to the high level of unemployement,Starvation,Poverty,Underdevelopment,Poor Enlightment in the Rural areas RADO has been set up to facilitate Community development through providing support for primary goals and rural grass root association by providing access to credit training and capacity buliding services with a bid to assisting them engage in income generation activities that will bring about their total developemnt and enhance their living standard.
Further more the goals and objectives of RADO among others are:
(a)To alleviate poverty through the provision of access to credit for income generating activies.
(b)To enhance rural self-employment through vocational training and skills acquistion.
(c)To generate a database on the cultural,social and economic state for rural commuunities in order to assist stakeholders in making informed decision aimed at developing them.
(d)To increase puplic enlightenment and awareness various socio-economic ssues that are releventto their well being.
(e)To help spread awareness on various factors that can improve the health and total well being of the families.
(g)To enhance the emancipation and participation of rural women in community development....In a summary RADO is in the drive towards the alleviation and eradication of unemployment, relief grant to farmers, health,micro credits, human empowerment of individuals who are in great need.
(h)To also help and assits thoes with AIDS
To actualize this drive we reply on Local and International donors from Private,Public institution of all kind not forgetting good spirited individuals.
