Message of Josep Maria Carbonell, Former Vicepresident of Pax Romana ICMICA/MIIC (5th December 2006):
Dear friends,
With great grief and immense sadness I have to inform you that our dear Bonaventura Pelegrí has died this morning at 10.30 in the hospital of Lleida (Catalunya). As he already informed you, his health worsened after a fall that provoked him a cerebral spill. He has not been able to recover. I suppose that the funeral will take place tomorrow but I don't still have concrete hour.
For all those who have had the Grace of having been his friends, partners and pupils, it is a particularly painful moment. His life was always for many of us a strong referent, a testimony of love, commitment, simplicity and service, and for Pax Romana and IWCS, one of their more emblematic support.
He wanted to ask you to forward this mail to our friends of the Movement in the five continents. You already know how much Father Pelegrí was appreciated in so many places.
