Pax Romana-MIIC está organizando su Internship Programme - Programa anual de pasantías en derechos humanos, que tendrá lugar en Ginebra del 31 de mayo al 16 de junio de 2008 y que estará vinculado a la 8ª Sesión del Consejo de Derechos Humanos de NNUU (2-13 de junio 2008) y otra del 5-30 septiembre 2008 para la 9ª Sesión del Consejo de Derechos Humanos.. Nos complace invitarles a presentar candidatos para a participar en dicho programa. Esperamos contar con 5 participantes para la 4ª Sesión del Consejo de Derechos Humanos y 5 participantes para la siguiente sesión por determinar . Cada coordinación regional está invitada a nominar dos candidatos . El MIEC y otras organizaciones están asimismo invitadas a presentar un candidato cada una. Con el fin de seleccionar a los participantes, se constituirá un Comité de selección.

Pax Romana-MIIC organise son Programme annuel de Stage en Droits de l’Homme, à Genève du 31 mai 16 juin 2008, lié à la 8eme Session du Conseil des Droits de l’Homme de l’ONU (2 – 13 juin, 2008). Nous allons organiser également un autre programme de 5-30 septembre 2008, liée à la 9eme ou la 6eme A ce jour, nous comptons sur 5 participants pour le 8e Session du Conseil de droits de l’homme et 5 participants pour le 9eme Session . Chaque coordination régionale est appelée à faire des nominations pour deux participants. Le MIEC et les autres partenaires sont également invités chacun à faire une nomination d’un participant. Un comité de sélection sera constitué pour sélectionner les participants.

A Call for Participation for the Pax Romana ICMICA - Human Rights Internship Programme 2008

Pax Romana-ICMICA will organize its annual Human Rights Internship Program which will take place in Geneva from 31st May – 16th June 2008 in connection to 8th Session United Nations Human Rights Council (2 – 13 June, 2008). Another Session of the programme will be held on 5-30 September 2008. We are expecting to have 5 participants for the 8th Session of the HR Council and 5 participants for the 9th Session of the HR Council. Each regional coordination is welcome to make a nomination of two participants. IMCS and other partners are also welcomed to make nomination of one participant for each. A committee of selection is formed to select the participants.

This symposium has been initiated and finally organized by an international European group of women who felt that although the topic of Gender Equality has been on the agenda of individual European governments and EU presidencies for some time, and has been mentioned in various political and even ecclesiastical papers, nothing of real importance has happened by and large. Therefore Women’s Vision / Pax Romana Europe decided to invite men and women, who share their concern, to discuss gender topics together with experts.
