We, young people from 5 continents1, representing a diversity of cultural, religious and spiritual backgrounds - Art of Living Foundation, Bahá’í, Brahma Kumaris, Buddhism, Christians of Catholic, Orthodox and Lutheran confessions, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism - gathered in Bilbao, Basque Country, at the 2nd Internship Program on Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue.

Pax Romana–ICMICA/MIIC with the support from the Government of Basque Country and Bilbao City Council organized the 2nd Pax Romana-ICMICA Interreligious and Intercultural Internship Programme 2006, to take place in Bilbao, Spain from 10 to 19 December 2006.

16 jóvenes de cinco religiones y 14 nacionalidades diferentes llegaron a Bilbao el lunes, 5 de diciembre de 2005, siete días antes del comienzo del Congreso principal, para formar parte del Encuentro Juvenil sobre el diálogo intercultural e interreligioso: Dentro del marco del Congreso “Nuevos desafíos en un mundo que ansía la paz” que tuvo lugar en Bilbao del 11 al 13 de diciembre de 2005, un grupo de jóvenes procedentes de diversos continentes tuvieron la posibilidad de contactar y de compartir sus experiencias no sólo con sus propias sino también con otras culturas y religiones.
Information-Paper about the Intercultural and Interreligious Internship Programme
On Monday, 5 th of December 2005, 16 young people from 14 different nationalities and five religions arrived at Bilbao to form part of the “Youth Internship Programme on the Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue” seven days before the beginning of the main-congress: Within the framework of the Congress “Nuevos desafíos en un mundo que ansía la paz” which took place in Bilbao from 11. - 13. December 2005 a group of young people from different places of different continents got the opportunity to get in contact and to share their experiences with their own but also with other cultures and religions.
